<u>Backyard Bound 2017</u></h2>
<h3 style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-weight: normal;">We are back at Rob Hill this year for the sixth annual Backyard Bound!</span></h3>
<h4 style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-weight: normal;">We Inspiring Young Emerging Leaders at the Crissy Field Center welcome Bay Area youth to come and express themselves at this years youth summit on Rob Hill's campground in the Presidio. We will be focusing on the importance of zero waste, which includes: not wasting your individuality, voice, or environment. </span></h4>
<div>
This is a chance for Bay Area youth to interact and meet each other outside of city life through the comfort of the outdoors. Come join us for a time of fun and new experiences. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Don't worry about bringing too much! We have you covered on sleeping gear and food throughout the whole trip!</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
For safety and the limited staff capacity, we expect youth to join with their school or organization so we have enough chaperones to have a safe and well balanced time.</div>

<br />
Hello
future and past IYELERS, this year’s summer trip of 2014 with the IYEL crew was
at Whiskeytown. Whiskeytown was definitely a very interesting place to visit. Why
Whiskeytown you may ask? Whiskeytown is a beautiful National Park that includes
a lake, waterfalls, hot temperatures and biodiversity. It is what some may say,
the perfect place for a summer trip because of the opportunity people have to
swim into the National Park’s lake with perfect temperatures for the summer. The team also got the chance to kayak at Whiskeytown lake with the whole group, this gave the team a chance to work together as pairs on one kayak boat shared with two IYELERS. <o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 200%; text-align: justify; text-indent: .5in;">
The
IYEL team focused on creating four fun and educational lesson plans for the
trip that focused on freedom because of Memorial Day weekend and Whiskeytown’s
history. The lesson plans were presented by the four groups throughout the
summer trip to keep excitement and energy flowing. We also wanted our fellow
IYELERS to appreciate their time at the beautiful National Park by learning
more about it, and realizing how freedom is important to them today. One of our
groups focused on Social-Freedom and the way they expressed how Social-Freedom
is important to them is by introducing the topic to us at the top of a
waterfall, where they talked and had us participate in a game that made us
realize about the water advantages the U.S.A has vs. other countries like Chad.<o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 200%; text-align: justify; text-indent: .5in;">
The
group that focused on Whiskeytown’s history presented their lesson plan to us
by a really beautiful beach that was near our campsite. They had us learn all
about the gold miners because a lot of them would visit this National Park
before it was a National Park because of all the gold nuggets it included. They
also had us work together as a team in the beginning like the gold miners did.
We learned a lot of history about the national park from this group because
they were reading off a lot of statements and they wanted us to figure out
which statements were true and which statements were false. This way we
actually got to learn a lot about the park by having a little fun at the same
time.</div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 200%; text-align: justify; text-indent: .5in;">
Our
last day at Whiskeytown, a different group did a lesson plan about being
thankful about each other and why it’s important to be thankful for the people
around us. This lesson plan included a props activity where everyone had a card
with their names written on the card and everyone in the group wrote a prop or
why they were thankful for that person. This lesson plan made us appreciate one
another a lot more, and it made us a stronger team knowing that we are all
thankful for each other. <o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 200%; text-align: justify; text-indent: .5in;">
Our
trip to Whiskeytown was <span style="line-height: 200%; text-indent: 0.5in;">definitely</span><span style="line-height: 200%; text-indent: 0.5in;"> something we are all going to take away with
us. We all learned a lot about the National Park and its history, and the
importance of freedom to us today. But the most important part of this trip is
that it made us a stronger team. We got the chance to spend a lot more time
with each other and to appreciate each other’s company, and it also gave us a
chance to reunite with some old familiar faces which are the IYEL alumni. We
were very glad to have them around and spend some time with us so that they can
share their wisdom with all of us.</span><br />

We un-packed our bags and some interns explored the cabin
while others prepared to lead their first lesson plans. Our first lesson plan of the trip
was themed "New Year, New Goals," and we played a fun game of capture the flag. Afterwards, we had time to reflect on
our past year and write a letter to ourselves about new goals we wanted to
achieve in 2014. The next group challenged our minds through a Martin Luther
King Jr./ Black History Month themed game of <i>Jeopardy</i>. The room was filled with
many animal noises, which acted as a buzzer, as a result of the competitive I-YELers. After the intense and educational game of <i>Jeopardy</i>, we waited for our first nights meal, hamburgers and
mac-n-cheese. After dinner, we participated in a star gazing activity led by the
accompanying staffs, Guilder and Ilana, where we looked at the stars and told
myths and scary stories.<br />

<b>Be prepared to be swept away by the new team of I-YEL interns. </b><br />
After a long and vigorous application process, new interns and our new I-YEL manager have been welcomed to the Crissy Field Center. A complete group of 22 diverse San Franciscan high school interns will be working together this year on creating, yet another, YEL project which will focus on spreading awareness of current social and environmental issues in our community.<br />

Following the traditional I-YEL calendar, we have already undergone our Parent Orientation and Overnight Orientation where new interns and parents are given the opportunity to establish a sense of community and trust with one another, as well as familiarize themselves with the center. With our new I-YEL manager, Jessica, on board there have seen some changes to our meeting formats. Every Wednesday and Saturday, I-YEL interns or Crissy Field Center staff lead a current issues presentation and discussion to gain further knowledge of this issue. In addition, the I-YEL team has attended the 2013 Brower Youth Awards, LEJ restoration in the Bayview Hunters Point district, Teens on Trails, and explored the Presidio during Saturdaym! </div>

Every year, teens from around the Bay Area come together to develop outdoor activities and workshops in preparation for an annual event called Backyard Bound held at the Rob Hill Campground. </div>

<br />
Teens from as far as Palo Alto woke up and drove to San Francisco where they were engaged in outdoor activities similarly held at the former Backyard Bound events, but lead by Crissy Field Center staff. Grace, the Outdoor Specialist, lead an epic cook off and former IYEL Alum, a current NPS ranger, Maria Jose lead an intense Healthy Parks Healthy People boot camp workout and ended with a hike to nearby Inspiration Point. All in all, it pumped up their audience and got us excited to lead one too! After lunch, I-YEL members came straight from their ACT tests to join the summit team in an all-out discussion on the positives and negatives of last year's summit. The next day we woke up, jumped back into our seats, and started choosing the workshops we wanted to lead for next year around the concepts of environment, society, and community.<br />

<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0in; text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-size: 13.5pt;">On the beautiful weekend of April 20-21,
2013, three I-YEL interns and various community groups hosted the second annual
Backyard Bound youth summit. High school teens from all across the Bay Area—
from as far as Martinez to as close to our local SFUSD high schools— came
together to enjoy their local national park and discuss ways in which to engage
their fellow youth to find a connection to the environment in their own way.<o:p></o:p></span><u1:p></u1:p></div>

<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0in; text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-size: 13.5pt;">Saturday began with various workshops and
outdoor experiences, from a discussion on gender roles in society to a ropes
course at Lands End. Eight participants also traveled to our very own
Crissy Field Center to use the cob oven in order to bake homemade pies and
learn about local food. No matter which activity they chose, each of the 70+
participants spent their entire day outdoors.<o:p></o:p></span><u1:p></u1:p></div>

<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0in; text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-size: 13.5pt;">Saturday evening concluded with a hefty
meal catered by El Burrito Express and a campfire program as the sun set. Andy
and Vincent, two members from the Ohlone tribe, plus the renowned GGNRA
storyteller Ranger Fatima, kicked off the evening with multilingual stories.
The first story featured<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span>Chocheño,
the native Ohlone language, Spanish, English and Fatima’s infamous theater
dramatics. The second story featured the use of a watermelon magically
implanted with “rabbit poop,” or chocolate-covered raisins. The program
continued with high-energy performances during our talent show and thoughtful
reflections of the day in general.<o:p></o:p></span></div>

<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: .0001pt; margin: 0in; text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-size: 13.5pt;">Participants were greeted to sunshine
early the next morning and prepared for the Sunday discussion. Topics include
Habit vs. Hype, Taking Ownership and Your Community, Your Actions.
Participants brainstormed various ways to utilize social media to get
youth and their families outside. For complete results of the discussion, stay
tuned: an official report will be released in mid to late May.<o:p></o:p></span></div>

discussion results, and a banner signing.<o:p></o:p></span></div>

<span style="font-size: 13.5pt;">On Saturday April
13, 2013 the I-YEL team had the opportunity to meet with the Goldman
Environmental prize winners. These six individuals came from all over the world
which you could say makes them Environmental celebrities. As well, there
were seven Iyelers who introduced and connected with each of the winners.
All of the winners inspired our youth and helped many of them start thinking
about their legacy here at the Crissy Field Center.<o:p></o:p></span></div>

<span style="font-size: 13.5pt;">The ceremony took place at the Crissy
Field Center, where we waited for the arrival of our Environmentalist. When
they arrived the six Iyelers had fifteen minutes to have a one-on-one
conversation with them. At thiat time we had the chance to ask them question
about their work and about the struggles that they went through to achieve
their goal. As the ceremony started we all sat down in our gathering room and
started with our speeches. Also, the winners had a few minutes to say some
inspiring words to us after we introduced them to the audience.<o:p></o:p></span><u1:p></u1:p></div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 18px; text-align: left;">Today was a very productive day for the I-YEL team. Before we got started with the day's activities, we were forced to make drastic changes to our calendar. Our play, name to be determined, was originally scheduled to be done and ready for presentation to the public in the middle of June. Due to the lack of time in everyone's schedule for this to be accomplished, we as a team agreed to push the performance dates back until the middle of July. With this move, we hope we can produce and perform one of the greatest youth led plays in the city. </span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 18px; text-align: left;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 18px; text-align: left;">After the alternating decision was made, we did a script reading of our rough draft for our city awareness play with our director/playwright, Javier. After the reading, we gave feedback to the script team on their work and we are on the verge of creating some major improvements to the play. More character lines, more story line related scenes, more drama! Everyone on the team contributed on what they think would make the script better and no one's ideas were disregarded in anyway. </span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="background-color: white; color: #181818; font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 18px; text-align: left;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="color: #181818; font-family: georgia, serif;"><span style="font-size: 14px; line-height: 18px;">Transitioning from lunch and a team builder led by Khari, the team split up into three teams to help support the play; the writers, the crew, and the admins. The writers continued to write the script and add more lines to all characters to give them more of a personality. The crew planned a video shoot to go along with the play and developed potential costumes for the characters. The admins worked on creating a title for the play, outreach and the budget. We felt like real business people; planning a lot of fun stuff for the public to enjoy while at the play. </span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="color: #181818; font-family: georgia, serif;"><span style="font-size: 14px; line-height: 18px;"><br /></span></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="color: #181818; font-family: georgia, serif;"><span style="font-size: 14px; line-height: 18px;">In a few weeks, we will have auditions for roles in the play and begin hitting the ground running with rehearsals. If I-YEL thought April was a busy month, May and June will be even busier! But we got this and I promise you, all of our hard work will pay off come July!</span></span><br />

The results of lots of discussion and thinking: </div>

<div class="MsoNormal">
<span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span>We started
off the morning by playing a game lead by Sebastian, a 2nd year
intern. The game we played was an improv game where we had partners and had to
act out a scene on the spot, which were suggested from the whole IYEL team. The
point of the game was to help us prepare for the actual play. In case we forget
our lines and we are on stage, we could improv so everything would go smoothly!</div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<span style="mso-tab-count: 1;"> </span>After
playing the fun and helpful game we all sat down and started to brainstorm for
the genre we wanted for our play. Everyone is curious about the results, right?
Well, after lots of debating and voting, the IYEL team has decided to have… a
love story themed play! Don’t worry, this is not just another love story, we
are trying our best to make this different from the others. There were many
other choices, (ex. Mystery, Action, etc.) but the team thought that a love
story would fit best, and that we could incorporate the other genres within it.

nice but short lunch in the gathering room, we all piled into the vans and
headed to SOTA, the school of arts, to watch a performance by the school. We
watched the play called 42ND STREET to help us think of ideas for
our own play. The story line of the play is that a girl named Peggy Sawyer is
nervous to audition for the 1993’s newest show, Pretty Lady, but finds out that
she was too late to audition anyways. But eventually she gets into the show
when director Julian Marsh says he needs one more girl in the show. On the
opening night, Peggy accidently knocks over the main lead, Dorothy, and breaks
her ankle. The chorus girls and Julian convince Peggy to become the new lead,
with only 2 days to memorize all her lines and dances. At the end she does a
fantastic job. All I could say was that the acting was BEAUTIFUL and I think
IYEL could do even better! After watching the play we had a debrief on what we
liked about the play and what elements we could use in our own. Then we were dismissed
from SOTA! Tune in next time to see what we have in stored for you! (=<br />

<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">What’s up you guys! Kathleen here! Over Martin
Luther King Jr. weekend IYEL went on their yearly snow trip to Yosemite
National Park! We started off the weekend by meeting at the center @ 7:45 AM,
and things got kicked off by our wonderful coordinators Laura and Luciana with
a game of musical chairs adding in our own little twist of course. Every time
someone was not able to grab a chair they would have to share what they would
hope would happen during the trip, and what they were afraid of. LaLu (short
for Laura and Luciana) have been planning this trip for a couple of months with
our supervisor Jie. Their goal was to come up with a trip where the whole team
would be able to bond and create a new connection for the rest of the IYEL year.
The entire team was separated in four different groups with different topics to
focus on with the opportunity to come up with an activity that they would be
able to lead during the trip. We got into our vans and after a long 4 hour
drive we finally reached the cabin! We unpacked everything and got settled in,
we then got right into our first group activity. </span></div>

<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%;">The first activity was a cool
jeopardy game led by DQ, Nairman, Yeyetsi, Ali, and Anny with questions about
the Crissy Field Center, National Parks, and random ones. Then the dinner crew
whipped up some of Sam’s Soup with of course Sam! The next day we woke up to
wonderful breakfast set up by our breakfast crew, geared up and headed up to
badger pass for the snow! We got set up with our gear and met up with our
instructor and started skiing. For most of us it was our first time and it was
so much fun! Racing against each other, and learning how to get back up after
falling, we then had some lunch and had a very intense snow ball fight! After,
we headed up farther up the hill and had another activity led by Sebastian,
Bryee, Winnie, and Tommy, and I. The activity was about trusted each other, our
activity involved a tarp, and a hit list type of game. A couple of us chose to
go up all the way to the very top of the hill and we skied down! It was so fast
I even got a battle scar! But I remember Anny another IYEL intern telling me
“It is better to have come all the way up fall and go down the hill then to not
have tried at all!” and boy was she right! After the hill we went back down to
go check in our gear and headed back to the cabin made some dinner, and were
lead into another activity about MLK and African American history by Jenna,
Eric, Nathaniel, Silver. After that activity we were lead into another activity
by JM, Sandy, Wilson, Jose, Marvin. We had words taped behind
our backs and the IYELERS were competing against the CFC staff to see who could
form the sentence the quickest working as a team! Then we all had some free
time played some pool and taboo! The next morning we started to clean up the
cabin with the time of I believe 30 minutes, that’s a new record! After LaLu
lead us into a wonderful props activity at the end of the trip. We all said our
goodbyes to the cabin and headed back to the city! All in all, it was a
wonderful trip thanks to our coordinators, staff, and IYELERS for all
participating! Until next time! <o:p></o:p></span></div>

In December 22, 2012, Saturday
before break, we were asked to reflect and analyze this quote in response to
the recent Sandy Hooks shootings. This quote was said by the National Rifle
Associations Chief in response to shooting. Is it right? Is it wrong? With 22
different opinionated voices, we each shared our own opinions to discuss how it
made us feel. <o:p></o:p></div>

After a
thoughtful check in, we moved onto selecting a project to tackle our newly
decided issue. Throughout the week, we met on Wednesday to choose the issue out
of the nine selected that we felt most passionate about. This was a very hard
selection process with so many different wants and needs to be filled for this
year’s project expectations, we decided on finding a consensus by ultimately
choosing City Awareness as our overall theme. Now we must move onward! With the
time to complete the project starting to tick away, we moved onto discussing
and selecting a way to tackle this newly founded issue. <o:p></o:p></div>

elimination round of possible projects was lead by Laura. She fantastically
engaged us on a journey finding the most positive way we’d like to shed light
on our YEL project issue of city awareness. First, we started off with multiple
posters divided and spread across the Gathering Room. These posters contained
the alphabet, and each one had about five letters each. The IYEL team would be split
up and each group would be assigned to a poster in order to write a creative
project that starts with the selected letters. For example, for the letter C we
would respond with a project theme of a Carnival. We filled out the posters and
only the one we were assigned to accordingly but with so many different ideas
each group would be limited to only choosing two they felt most passionate
about. When we regrouped we were all to advertise and explain our project to help
others envision what we had thought of. As advertisements are, we were just as
fun and engaging but also maintaining the thoughtfulness needed in a meeting! <o:p></o:p></div>

After
lunch, we had a faster process of deciding a project. The question constantly
running through our heads was “Which one of the projects can be utilized most
effectively?” Although we all petitioned for the project we thought of, we were
asked to be empathetic and truly analyze what we should and could do for the
transcending end product. Slowly, but surely we got through the process and

on after a short but pleasant break, we moved on to an annual tradition – the
Purple Shirt Ceremony. It’s a ceremony which is dedicated to the interns of
IYEL where the returning interns are to hand the first year interns their fresh
new purple shirts. And thus, the bond was born! Concluding the day with our new
intern profiles, go check them out! (: <o:p></o:p></div>

The I-YEL team was split into three groups, Cuties with Sebastian, Hanakwan-mas,
and Fruit Cakes. Jie who was leading the activity, searched about the most
popular Christmas gifts on Google. We, the participants, were to guess any
random gift that may apply until a general category such as, iPhone which
applies under and electronic or the Apple company product category. Did you
know that most students want a computer for Christmas? This activity left me
excited to play our annual game of White Elephant at the end of the day!</span></h4>

the day, we started to jump into choosing our project issue lead by me,
Nathaniel. The last Wednesday we met, we had brainstormed as a group the
multiple issues that apply and effect to our Bay Area community focuses on an
environmental or social aspect. Over the course of thirty minutes, we as a
group swiftly listed and eliminated issues. At I-YEL, we respect that not every
issue can be addressed, and those less popular were eliminated from our
palettes. Toward the beginning, progress was slow. Soon after, we eliminated
from an estimated 20 to 30 issues and voted down to nine we all felt relevance
with. Those nine issues turned out to be Nutritious Eating, Animal Testing,
City Awareness, Outdoor Avocation, Preserving the Ecosystem, Adding More Parks
Into the Hood, Cleaner Water for Everyone, Animal Companionship, and Air
Pollution.<br /><br /><br /><br />After a quick lunch break, we all
regrouped and split up into pairs. Each pair would research more about each
issue and was given an hour and thirty minutes to do so. Filling out a chart,
we were to find facts or statistics, relevance to our community, what our parks
can do to help, how it applies to an environmental or social aspect, and
possible projects. After researching the all nine topics, we grouped together
in the Youth Room and presented in pairs each topic. This was the time to make
these topics relevant, to make them personal. Tears were shed, stories were told.
Even our Backyard Bound team members couldn’t help but to join in on the
discussions. After heart felt and heard presentations, the I-YEL members were
given time until the following Wednesday to better understand each topic and
embrace that a compromise must be met by the end between all nine.<br /><br />After a long day coming to an end,
we all regrouped as we prepared for the ultimate Christmas gift exchange
showdown. White elephant lead by Sam and Jie. Over the course of the two weeks
before this glorious event everyone participating, UTB and I-YEL teams, brought
in gifts worth $5-$15 dollars and that had no use to them but could have use to
someone else. The gifts were kept a secret, wrapped in the deceiving gift wrap
lied gifts that could have or couldn’t have been useful. The game was played by
having each participant choose a ticket containing a number within an enigmatic
hat, much like the hats that magicians use, and that number would select the
order in which the participants would get to unravel the mysterious wonders.
Having the lowest number, one, was considered having the best. Over the course
of the game, participants are given the ability to either choose another gift
out of the pile or steal another persons gift giving the person who got his/her
gift stolen a choice to steal a separate gift apart from what was stolen
originally or to choose again. A gift can inevitably be stolen up to three
times, but after that it’s locked and the owner must keep it, forever. Towards
the end of the game, after everyone had selected a random gift, the participant
with the number one would have an option to steal another person’s gift or keep
his/her gift thus ending the game. I originally stole and was the second owner
of a large display of the map of the world, but by the end of the day I went
home with a home made massage parlor of a used foot roller, back scratcher,
back hitter, and an easy-make nestle hot chocolate with caramel. Perfect gift!
I donated it to the center, so it’ll be in use. Thanks for the amazing gift!<br /><o:p> </o:p></span></h4>

<div class="MsoNormal">
What would you do if you had the chance to go to a yacht
club and sail in the middle of the San Francisco Bay? <o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
Well, that is what 9 IYEL-ers, and 3 Crissy Field Center
staff did this past weekend. <o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
We all arrived at the center on an early cold rainy Saturday
hoping that we would have the chance to go sailing. We had some muffins and Jie
led a check-in activity where we played a game. The concept of the game was to
have the team stand on a tarp and to work as a team to grab a sharpie marker
for every single IYELer because that was the only way to survive.<o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
After that check-in we walked on over to the St. Francis
Yacht Club. When we arrived we met our instructor and guide named Katie. We
walked on up to our very own personal room, where there was coffee and orange
juice prepared for us. Once we put down our belongings we were led on a tour of
the club and we got to see “behind the scenes” of the club. We saw the Olympic
medals from past sailors who were a part of the club.<o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
After the tour we headed back into our room for a very
informative introductory lesson about sailing! <o:p></o:p></div>

<div class="MsoNormal">
We learned how to tie specific knots with the <i>lines</i> (what they are called in sailing).
Once we learned 3 different type of knots, we raced each other to see who could
do them the fastest! We also played other games where we got to test our skills
from what we learned from the lesson! It got quite competitive and some participants
got bruises, but at the end it was a lot of fun.<o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
After that we had a beautiful deli buffet set out for us!<o:p></o:p></div>

<div class="MsoNormal">
Once we were finished eating we met two other instructors
named Adam and Steven and prepared for our sailing trip. Everyone looked warm
and cozy and got ready to sail. Thankfully the rain cleared up just in time for
us to sail! <o:p></o:p></div>

We headed down to the boats and were split into 3 boats! In the beginning it
was quite scary knowing how the boats could capsize but in the end we knew we
were safe! I was in a boat with with Renee, JM, and Silver. We all got the
chance to steer. When we got back to the club we cleaned ourselves up a little
and went back up to our room with hot chocolate and cookies prepared for us! <o:p></o:p></div>

We had a little debrief, played a couple more games, thanked
Katie and headed on back to the center! All in all it was a great experience as
